Have students in their notebooks copy the following chart with numbers and names.

- Teacher will prepare in advance 4 sets of numbers and words. He/She will divide the class in four groups and hand in a set to each. Students will work together to match numbers and names correctly.
- Teacher and students can count aloud and use desk, chairs and pencils as well as any other classroom item.
- Teachers may use this chart to model and practice counting.
